This artwork was created for flyers and posters for the 2nd annual Karen E. Mumford Cancer Awareness Basketball Game. This is another project that we worked on with Eighty81.com. We kept the art clean, simple, to the point and were very pleased with the end product . Various cancer awareness ribbons were used in a creative way to add a little bit of extra color to the design.

This six page annual report was designed for Village Capitol Corporation. The project might not look like it at first glance but it was very involved and we spent a good deal of time on it. Photo manipulation was handled in Photoshop. Charts, graphs and vector work was done in Illustrator. All of the pieces and parts came together in Adobe InDesign. In the end we had a great looking full color printed piece. We chose to print on a semi-gloss stipple textured paper. The finished piece was a 6 pager that folded out to a little over 25 inches in length. We took a little extra pride in this oversized brochure (being residents of the Detroit Shoreway Neighborhood.) Village Capital Corporation has done a lot to improve the surroundings for businesses and residents in Cleveland.

This is one flyer design in a series of headshot themed cards for Sunset Fridays at Sunset Lounge in Cleveland Ohio. These were designed as templates that could be easily updated with a new headshot and color scheme.

A folding card designed for the Ultimat Vodka launch party at House of Blues Cleveland. This half page card was scored and folded into a 4 panel invitation. This is a quick, easy and cost effective solution for invite design. After folding the 1/2pg card it fits nicely into an A2 envelope.

A gift certificate designed for Fred Astaire dance studio. The owner contacted us to see if we could come up with an eye catching design for this studio. His only instructions were to use an image or two of Fred Astaire. He loved the first design proof and the project was a go with no changes. He was ready to print so we sent it to press!

A card designed to invite people to a mid-summer night event at Sergio’s Sarava located in Shaker Square. The name of the event inspired me to create artwork reminiscent of a breezy August night under a star filled sky.

This hand card was designed for the Campaign for Change Afterparty in Cleveland Ohio, presented by eighty81.com. Art was created specifically for this client and was based on the easily recognizable Obama print design campaign. A nice clean vector illustration of Jay-Z was created by the talented Arnaldo Jimenez.

This postcard was designed for Neighborhood Progress Inc. and is just one of the pieces we produced for the Opportunity Homes Groundbreaking. They used it as a tool to invite people to the groundbreaking ceremony that took place this month in Cleveland Ohio’s Slavic Village neighborhood. The Urban Design Collaborative of Northeast Ohio supplied us with a really nice rendering to use on the front of the card. We also created art for and produced yard signs, posters, banners and program booklets.

Another fun project. This card is one in a series that was designed for TropicalCleveland.com to promote their weekly Friday night and Saturday night events at a couple of nightclubs here in Cleveland. Each night salsa lessons are given. Our goal with this one was to create a card with a lot of movement. These designs stand out as some of my recent favorites.

We designed this card for eighty81 to promote an event at the Bar of Modern Art in Columbus Ohio. The event occurred on the 23rd of the month which was convenient. It gave us an opportunity to incorporate LeBron’s Jersey number into the design.

This flyer was created for eighty81.com to promote the Third annual Joshua Cribbs Costume Bash at the House of Blues Cleveland. Another fun project involving a lot of photoshop trickery and image doctoring. In the end we created a nice (and eerily realistic) photo illustration. It’s kind of spooky… I guess that is appropriate though being for a halloween party and all.

I was honored (being a graduate of the school) when Virginia Marti College of Art and Design approached us and asked if we’d be interested in coming up with a “simple yet clever” 2-color T-shirt design. They loved this concept from the start. The art was screen printed onto plain white T-shirts and given to the digital media students to wear when out on location.

This postcard was designed for the Gordon Square Arts District’s Streetscape Groundbreaking on Cleveland’s near west side. This was a fun card to design. The client requested that the imagery include a jackhammer, fun things and some of the new elements that are going appear in the finished street-scape along Detroit Avenue. We saw that as an opportunity for a very fun illustration.
